My artwork is a combination of 4 canvases and all four are different light colors and in one of the corners are a darker or brighter color of the canvas. One is pink, blue, green and purple. They all have different themes about self-love. I created this artwork with 4 canvases, acrylic paint and a black paint marker. The big meaning behind my artwork is self-love, lover yourself you are unique. My goals for this artwork was to express myself in this artwork and to go out of my comfort zone and so an artwork that is very personal to me. My overall thought for this artwork is this probably one of my best artworks. It was very layed out and done very well.

My best artwork was my last artwork because the meaning behind the artwork and this artwork is special to me because the meaing. I always had a problem with self-love and loving myself. I would redo my wave artwork because it was not the best artwork i've done and I feel like if i picked a different artwork and idea it would of turned out better. One thing I learned from art class was to always express yourself in your artworks because they will have a deeper meaning and they will be more important to you. I wished we did clay because I love working with clay because you can make so many different things with clay and it's super fun working with clay.
The studio habits I'm going to be using in my last artwork are Engage & Persist, Envision and Stretch & Explore. I will be using these studio habits by engaging into my artwork and persisting on continuing making progress on my artwork. Envisioning how my artwork will look when it is at it's final stage. For the last studio habit I will use it by Exploring my art abilities ans Stretching my cababilities.
My artwork is about my son and how he is changing in his personality while he is growing up. There are many different size squares on the canvas and in those squares are ways my son has changed over the months. In one of the squares is his full name Lucas James Benjamin, his weight, height and the time he was born at. I created my artwork by acrylic paints, a "12 x"16cm canvas and a black paint marker. The big idea behind my artwork is to cherish every moment with your child and cherish them growing up because before you know it, it will be over and they will be all grown up. My goals for this artwork was to do more than what i'm comfortable with. My overall thoughts for this artwork were good but I feel like I could of got better and more details if I was more focused.
The two studio habits I used in the process of making my artwork are Observe and Engage & Persist. I used Observe by observing the pictures of my son growing up and drawing them in order. The next habit I used was Engage & Persist I used this habit by trying to stay engaged into my artwork and keep persisting.
The two studio habits I used today were Observed and Sketch & Explore. I worked on Observing by looking at the firetruck I had in front of my and drawing it. For Sketch & Explore I used this by doing many different exercises with drawing.
My artwork is the Wave of Kanagawa and on the boats are some of my favorite characters, such as baby yoda, baby groot, BB8 and stitch. I created my artwork with acrylic matte paint and some acrylic satin paint. I also used cutouts of my characters I drew and painted and a 14" x 18" canvas. My big idea for my artwork was to put some of my favorite characters into a favorite artwork. The emotion I'm trying to express is calm and happiness. My goals was to push myself and paint an artwork I wouldn't originally paint. With a little bit of a twist because I wouldn't originally put my favorite characters in my artwork. This artwork was just a whole different theme than I usually do. I thought I did a really good job for going out of my comfort zone and doing a theme I never do.
Her style is way different from the traditional way because she watches movie and plots out the romance or the events that happen in her artwork. She also observes events and not just objects like in the traditional way of observe. If I made a stakeout I would plot out the romance in one of my favorite romance movies. Also in the warm up video all of the drawings looked soo realistic.
In my opinion the best case of appropriation is the Damien Hirst, EmmsbV. Hirst, because he did copy the anatomy set to a tee. The only thing different about it would be it's size. Then the worst case of appropriation in my opinion is the Fountain, because he changed it and made it his own.
The two studio habits I used today in this mind map are Observe and Engage & persist. I used observe because I had to observe my mind map and add little pictures to every little bubble. For engage & persist I used it by engaging into the mind map and persisting to add bubbles to it so it became more full.
