My artwork is a set of different plates and bowls and a mini glass and two glasses. I created then with white clay, bowl/plates to make them and many different glazes. My big idea of my artwork was to go something I love and make stuff I have never made before. My goal for this artwork was to show my identity and I did that by the glazes and making stuff that I love. My overall thought for my artwork is, they turned out great and I love how they all look.

The two studio habits I will be using is Develop Craft and Stretch & Explore. I will be using Develop Craft by using tools and material and practice new art forms. I will also be using Stretch & Explore by reaching beyond my capabilities and embracing my opportunity. And creating clay dinnerware that I have never tired to make before. I am sharing my desire and my enjoyment in making clay stuff. I am proud of how far I have become and how many I have made. I am still working on making some clay things.
The two studio habits I plan on using through my process are Stretch & Explore and Develop Craft. I will be using them by Stretching & Exploring my artistic abilities and creating/making things I haven't used before. I will also be Developing and practicing art forms by using tools and materials in a different way. And I plan on showing my identity through my clay dinnerware by the glaze and the design of my glazes.

The big idea behind my artwork was trying something new and making something I have never made before and try something way out of my comfort zone. My goals for this artwork was to express figure in the ring and proportions and I think I have made those goals. My overall thoughts about my artwork is the process was a struggle but the product turned out better than I expected. I created a pinch pot and a dish. The process of all of my dish was a struggle but in the end it turned out better than I thought it would. The struggle was making then not to thin.; Pinch pot & Dish- Canton Jade and Nautical Jade.
My plan for this artwork is to create little cute animals out of clay. I got my inspiration from looking up clay animals online. The two studio habits i'm using is Engage & Persist and Envision. I use Enage & Persist by working through my problems in my artwork and keep trucking along. I use Envision by mentally picturing my next step in my art process.
My artwork is a combo of two 6" brass rings connected to each other and both rings have seed beads in a certain order. On each rings the beads are organized different and they are in different order colors. I created my artwork by taking two 6" brass rings, gold 26 gauge floral wire, a variety of seed beads and a little piece of white string. I did one ring at a time, in one ring I wired seed beads in a certain color order in many lines and repeated 6 times and then I started a new color and repeated that 6 time, I did this one last time. In the second I swooped 8 different lines in many different lengths and beaded them in a variety of different color arrangements. The last step I did was attach the two rings together to make an dangly earring holder. The big idea behind my artwork is to hold my dangly earrings and the beads are part of my culture so I wanted to embrace a part of my culture. The goal for my artwork was to create something non-representational and I wanted to create something I would never create nd work with materials I would never work with and I reached that goal. My overall thought of my artwork are? I wish I would of worked on it more to make it looked for finished. But other than that it is ok.
For my artwork I will be making a jewelry holder for my big dangly earrings. I will be using a variety of colors for make it look pretty. The beads will be in patterns to make us look more put together. The elements I will be focusing on is pattern and variety. The two studio habits I am inspired by is Stretch & Explore and Express. I will use Express by using bead from my culture into my artwork because the bead art my culture does it beautiful. I will be using Stretch & Explore by using materials I haven't used ever and trying them out and I actually love the materials so far. I definitely want to order some beads and other materials and make more stuff with the beads.
My artwork is a little beach house with two stone pillars holding up the deck make up of popsicle sticks and cardboard. The rest of the house is a rectangular sized house make up of popsicle sticks and cardboard and it is all held together by hot glue. I created my artwork with popsicle sticks, cardboard, hot glue and little decorative stones. I layed popsicle stick onto cardboard and glued them on the cardboard with wood glue and then I taped them on the cardboard so they wouldn't curl up. WHat is the big idea for my artwork? The big idea is, this was supposed to be my dream house but in the end it turned into a beach house. My goals for this artwork was to try and create an architectural building and use and manipulate the materials in a different way then I have before. I think I have reached both of those goals. My overall thoughts for this artwork is, I think I could of done way better if I thought out my process more or picked an easier building. But I thought I did a good job for what I picked.
For this artwork I was inspired by Charles R. Stinson because he makes beautiful dream homes. So for this artwork I decided I would make a dream home of my own. The two studio habits i've been using so far in my process are Envision and Develop Craft. I have used Envision by envisioning the steps of my artwork and proceeding with them and doing my best to recreate my plan. I have used Develop and Craft by learning to use new ways and materials to make my artwork better.
