I only recognize the water-lily pond and I do recognize both artists. They are very similar the only difference is the cone and carts in the water and the brightness/dullness of the artwork. The second artist was inspired by the whole artwork but he just added his own style to it and made it his own. I think it was in the middle but mostly bad because he copied the artwork but just added three things to change it.
For my observational drawing I drew my scheels coffee mug. It's not the best observational drawing I've ever done but I will admit I wasn't that focused. The first studio habit I used is Observe, because I was doing an observational drawing. The second studio habit I used is Envision because I'm envisioning how my artwork is going to look and play out. For my artist steal artwork I'm gonna combine all of these cute cartoon characters onto The Great Wave Off Kanagawa and the characters are gonna be surfing on the waves.
The two studio habits i've been working with are Observe and Engage & Persist. The first habit I have used so are is observe. I've used this habit in many different ways but the most recent way i've used this habit is in my current drawing "Winnie The Bat". The other artwork I used observe is in my observation drawings. The other studio habit i've used is Engage & Persist. I've used this habit in every single one of my drawings, because I have to engage and focus into my artwork to be persistent. Sometimes it's really hard to focus, engage in the morning since i'm not a morning person and i'm still half asleep but I work through it. Because I wanna make process and make improvements in my artworks and on being an artists.
Here is my process from painting bootcamp. We did in painting bootcamp was the color wheel and we also matched to color strips.
Right now at an artist I would say I've gotten better but that is in my opinion. Over the summer I've kept drawing and practicing.
I hope to learn new skills or new materials I like to work in. The risks I will take this semester is to go out of my comfort zone and to go out of my bubble to try new themes, materials and new ideas. The goals I have for myself is to go out of my comfort zone and the create something I wouldn't create as my normal theme. Also another goals is to get better as an artists. |
