My best artwork in my opinion was my last artwork which was all about my native culture. Why, because I like how I put it together and I really like the feather touch, and it's about where i came from and the culture i'm apart of. And for the artwork I would like to redo would have to be the leopard artwork. why, I think I could of done a better job on it cause now I have more experience. I learned how to color better I learned more techniques and more materials I could use in my future artworks. Like the watercolors and plastic wrap was a cool and fun technique to learn cause I never knew I would do that with watercolors. I wish i could have done the yin yang symbol with one of my artworks cause I have a special connection with the symbol it reminds me of a happy and great moment in my life.

There are nine feathers, three of them are on the first dream catcher and six on the other catcher. The word "Ojibwe" across the top the "O" of the word is a black dream catcher and on the letter "W" the second dream catcher is hanging off of the slope of the "W". There is a baby moccasin what is blue and tan right next to the dream catcher. The in the right hand corner on the top there is the word "Boozhoo" which means "Hello! or Greetings!", all across the bottom of the artwork is the word "Gizahgin" which means "I love you" and I picked those words cause I love the saying "I love you" and then everyone always says hello. On the black dream catcher there are six black beads all around the twine, and on the second dreams catcher there are six beads but all different colors, the colors are yellow, blue, red, coral, maroon, and orange. I created my artwork by circle tracers and just throwing around ideas in my head and see what one would look the best. The big idea behind my artwork is my indian culture, I am part of the Ojibwe tribe in milacs and i'm proud of my culture. My goals for this artwork was to have it turn out and for it to improve from my last artwork and to be more creative, and to use other materials that I haven't ever used before. My overall thoughts of this artwork is that I improved from my last artwork and I used a material that I haven't used before and I used actual feathers which was a nice touch for my opinion.
I stretched and explored on this artwork because, I used actual feathers on this artwork at first I was going to draw them but then I decided it would be really cool if I used actual feathers. I can develop craft cause I practices using colored pencils, and prismacolor markers and I never used the prismacolor markers before they are very bright and bold. And I can engage & persist with this artwork because it's about me culture and where I came from and I'm proud of my culture and I used some ojibwe works in my artwork because the work "Gizahgin" means the world to me it means i love you.
This artwork is water colored with orange, green, blue, red, magenta and purple. Then it's dora, boots and backpack glued on the front with the letters "DORA the Explorer" above and below the characters. The backpack is purple with yellow eyebrows, dora is wearing a pink shirt, orange shorts, yellow socks, white shoes and a purple backpack, and the monkey boots is wearing red boots and he is gray with a yellow stomach. I created this artwork by watercoloring the final draft paper then I colored dora and the rest of the characters and words then I cut them out and glued them to the water-colored paper. The big idea for this artwork was it was the main show I watched when I was little and I was bullied earlier in life so I turned the bullying into something good and turned it into an artwork. My goals for this artwork was to do a good job placing and gluing the characters and everything and to make this artwork good and to bring up a good and bad memory from my past. My overall thoughts for my artwork was I did a really good job and I keep improving in my artworks and I keep trying new materials and testing them.
For my artists steal artwork I used Charcoal pencils, blending stick, black sharpie and I used a blue color pencil for the eyes. I always wanted a pet leopard and that's what inspired me this artwork. The emotion for this artwork is courage because leopards have courage and strength. My goals for this artwork was to see if charcoal worked good for this artwork because I never used charcoal pencils or anything charcoal in an artwork before. My overall thoughts of this artwork was I did a really good job working with the charcoal.
The expression in this artwork is this was my favorite tv show when I was little I used to watch this show all the time and I used to get dora everything when I was little to. And then later on in life I cut my hair dora length and I got bullied because of it and people still call me dora today. The develop craft in this artwork is i'm using markers, colored sharpies, watercolors and plastic wrap for this artwork and I have never used this for any of y artworks before.
My art has two looks to it one half of the girl is all bright and happy and the other half is dark, black and gloomy. The dark side has a chalky feel to it because it's charcoal and the bright side has a more glossy/plastic feel because I used color pencil. I'm using color pencil on one half of my artwork then on the other half i'm using charcoal and sharpie, but I use a fine tip and fat tip sharpie on both sides. This one image inspired me to do this artwork, and yes the emotion of this artwork is everyone has a dark side even if they don't know it or if they don't want to admit it. I have a dark side myself but sometimes I hide it and other times I express it. My goals for my artwork was to do something totally different from my past artworks. I reached my goal because I never did anything like this before in an art class and yes this artwork helped me reach my goal. I learned that I can do something totally out of my comfort zone and do a pretty good job at it.
I can learn to use envision in my artwork cause I can mentally picture the next step of my artwork in my head and I see which idea would look the best. Also I can learn how to express a meaning or feeling in my artwork i'm expressing that everyone has a dark side or a side that they are afraid of.
Juxtaposition- two things being seen or placed close together.
Text & Image- text is associated with an image that serves that same purpose and provides the same effect. I learned to develop craft because I haven't used before on am artwork. On my artwork i'm using charcoal pencils and I never used them before but I really think they are really fun to use and they are really nice and I like them. I learned to observe better and to really focus on the details and the shapes and curves of the snow leopards face. Plus I can stretch & explore with my artwork, because I can learn from my mistakes in the past and from my past artworks.
